Bridge Business Across BRICS Nations
Trade initiatives and working connections for companies across member countries and dialogue partners.
Our Mission And Vision
The BRICS Trade Council is a multilateral platform established to connect businessmen, entrepreneurs, and trade organizations across BRICS member nations — Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa — and dialogue partners. We design and execute trade initiatives, programs, and conferences that foster meaningful cross-border business collaboration.
The council works as a secretariat rather than a marketplace. It convenes chambers, export bodies, and company delegations, then carries their sectoral priorities into structured dialogue with counterparts in partner economies.
Our mandate is practical: shorten the distance between a manufacturer in one member nation and a qualified buyer, distributor, or joint-venture partner in another. Delegation visits, matchmaking sessions, and policy briefings are the instruments we use.
What member companies gain is continuity. A network built across successive programs and conferences outlasts any single trade mission, and that durability is the vision the council was founded to serve.
Four Ways To Engage
The BRICS Trade Council operates across four interconnected pillars, each designed to unlock trade and investment opportunities across the network.
Companies enter the council wherever their priorities sit — a single market initiative, a regional programme, a conference table, or full membership — and move between the pillars as their trade footprint widens across member nations and dialogue partners.

Trade Initiatives
Collaborative frameworks connecting businesses and unlocking cross-border opportunities.

Programs And Events
Sector-specific and regional programs held across member nations and dialogue partners.

Conferences And Gatherings
High-level conferences including the flagship September gathering at FIEO, New Delhi.

Membership

A Network Spanning The Globe
From ports on the Atlantic to manufacturing corridors across Asia, the council works where its members trade.
The BRICS Trade Council connects businesses across five member nations and an expanding roster of dialogue partners, creating multilateral pathways for trade and investment.
A Global Gathering Of Trade Leaders
On 10 September 2026 the BRICS Trade Council convened a landmark conference at FIEO, the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, in New Delhi, under the United Diplomatic Council.

The Convening At FIEO
Business leaders, diplomats and trade officials from BRICS nations and dialogue partners assembled for a full day of plenary dialogue on trade opportunities and sectoral collaboration.

Sectors In Focus
Breakout tables paired exporters with counterparts across the sectors where member and partner economies are most complementary.
Agri-trade
Processing and cold chain
Engineering
Components and capital goods
Services
Logistics, finance and technology

What Members Take Away
Member companies attend as named participants, speak from the floor, and leave with introductions the council continues to service after the hall empties. This flagship gathering exemplifies our commitment to substantive, high-level business engagement.
